Manville® HVAC glass fiber board is made from uniformly fine and long glass fibers and an environmentally friendly binder through a special process. According to the required R-value, it is made into different types of high-hardness boards with different densities, up to 96kg/m3, suitable for external insulation and heat insulation of rectangular metal duct systems.
Manville® can provide various waterproof vapor barrier materials required for glass fiber boards, and they are factory-processed and laminated onto the glass fiber boards to meet the requirements of heat insulation and moisture resistance in various environmental situations.
Using Manville®'s duct glass fiber board can greatly reduce the heat loss of the duct wall and the operating costs of the HVAC system. It has a beautiful appearance and excellent heat insulation and moisture-proof performance.Physical Properties

Manville® bio-based environmentally friendly glass wool uses a new generation of corn syrup bio-based resin glass wool adhesive technology, mixed according to a certain ratio. It is softer and has better thermal conductivity than other types of glass wool on the market. The fiber diameter is only 5-6.5μm, so it feels softer, and installation will not cause irritation or itching. It is odorless, and because the material uses food-grade corn syrup bio-based resin, the product has no formaldehyde release and no VOC emissions, making it healthy and environmentally friendly. The product color does not add any pigments, it is a natural syrup brown color, with a faint caramel fragrance, and its performance in insulation and sound absorption is even more excellent.
